In New Testament times, the church looked very different than it does today in North America. Most church meetings were home meetings, and included sharing the Word, prayer, fellowship and usually a meal. The church was a family, a household of faith. |

Pastor Jay and Heather have been meeting with Marion and Peter to lay some plans for where we hope to go with small groups in 2010. We have been looking at how we can train new leaders organically, in healthy prototype groups which we hope and believe will be able to launch other healthy groups. We have also been talking about how to maintain some consistency among City Church small groups while also allowing for flexibility. Look forward to hearing more about this exciting part of church life in the months to come! |
